• You can use download managers like GetRight or Download Accelerator Plus

• Create a simple, fast-loading html page.
• Then compress all pictures into small files and put them on that gallery.
• Use ACDSee program to make pictures smaller with compress tool.
• Then open a movie with VirtualDub and cut into 1MB - 2MB movie files.
• Put these movies at least on two hosting services.

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL WITH VIRTUALDUB:
(tested on version 1.4.8 and with DivX 4.12 Codecs)

• Download it here, also it is good to have DivX codecs installed.
• In VirtualDub open the movie file (.avi, .mpeg....).
• With slider go to position where you want to begin with cutting it.
• Click on Edit and click on Set selection start.
• Go with slider to position where you want the movie ends.
• Click Edit and click on Set selection end.
• You will see the blue line in slider area and that is the selected movie that you will cut out.
• Now click on Audio and click Full processing mode.
• Now click again on Audio and click on Compression.
• Use MPEG Layer-3 and on right side select any format ( I recommend those with 1KB/s).
• Click OK and now click on Video and click on Compression.
• I recommend using DivX Codecs and Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codecs V2.
• For DivX Codecs pretty much the default settings or try to change them a little and test it.
• For Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codecs V2 click on Configure and on smoothness select 30 for Cispness and on Data Rate at Least 250 Kilobits per Second. You can also use higher setting and test them if they will work well.
• When everything is configured click on File and click on Save As Avi.
• Remember, its good to have more small movies and placed on at least two different servers.

ALSO YOU CAN TAKE SCREENSHOTS FROM MOVIES TOO:

• Just select the desired movie location and click on Video and Copy source frame to Clipboard.
• Then open your image editor and paste this file from clipboard and edit it.

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL WITH ACDSee:
(tested on version 4.0 PowerPack Suite)

• Download the program (ACDSee or ACDSee PowerPack Suite).
• Open it and go to the images directory where you want to make them smaller.
• Right click on the selected image and click on Convert.
• If you have picture from movies or any other picture which is not a logo or some banner use JPG.
• When selected JPG, click on Format Settings and move the slider on 75%.
• Progressive and if you want to use this setting always select Save this settings as the defaults. Click OK.
• Now you can overwrite or make new compressed image file. Click on remove/replace original file if you want to overwrite the file (not recommended for newbie users).
• Click OK and the file will be compressed.
• With this tool you can compress into almost any image format and view all image formats too. Its a very good tool for making picture galleries because it has a good HTML plug in and it will do everything automatically.
